If you're a homeschooler like me, you must start a tradition of starting off your school year. Our tradition is going to our favorite beach in San Diego. With prepared awesome sandwiches and put in a picnic basket, and cold drinks in the cooler. We didn't even spend a penny for food, except for gas going there. First day of school is family day out! I highly recommend!
