a handmade Christmas

 With the help of the kids, this Christmas we are able to put together heartfelt gifts for friends and family. Chocolate covered pretzels. The kids helped dip the chocolates and package them together.

They were eager to help, and it was hard for me to refuse. At times it was hard to tell them no when the job was too hard for them to do. Eventually, they would be satisfied with the task I ask them to do.

What was challenging was more on me. Letting the pretzel end the way they end up drying. Some were not as even, some didn't have enough. I just knew having the kids involve in the preparation will not meet my perfectionist standard.

But no matter, the job was done and we enjoyed making it together!
