Fruits for thought..

 I have finally got my children into the habit of eating more fruits. They love to munch on particularly the blackberries.  Yes my kids also munch on chips, but they have to chose fruits before choosing chips. I love to take pictures of random things we do, so I thought I'd share it on my blog. In addition to the picture, might as well share some nutritional facts of these goodies.

BLACKBERRIES:
The good: This food is very low in Saturated Fat, Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopherol), Folate, Magnesium, Potassium and Copper, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin C, Vitamin K and Manganese.

The bad: A large portion of the calories in this food come from sugars.

CHERRiES:
The good: This food is very low in Saturated Fat, Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Dietary Fiber, Copper and Manganese, and a very good source of Vitamin A and Vitamin C.

ORANGES:

The good: This food is very low in Saturated Fat, Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Thiamin, Folate and Potassium, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber and Vitamin C.
