Strawberry Syrup - homemade!

Here is an easy to make strawberry syrup to add to your pancakes or yogurt parfaits in the morning. Of course, you have to make it ahead of time so that it will be ready for eating when you prepare your pancake or yogurt. And in your preparation all you need are these:

Ingredients:
frozen or fresh strawberries (mixed berries too)
1 cup sugar
1 cup water

Tools to use:
round Strainer
big mixing bowl

The steps I took:
  1. If you chose to make the syrup with frozen berries, I recommend thawing it and draw the melted ice. Use the magic bullet to blend the berries.
  2. Boil the sugar and water, and once the sugar has been dissolved add the blended berries of your choice. And boil until it thickens.
  3. After boiling strain the mixture with a strainer into a mixing bowl. This takes out seeds from the berries. This way you have smooth syrup.
  4. Transfer to your preservative jar. Then keep inside the refrigerator until pancake time!

Let me know how you do! And if you add any of your ideas to improve, don't forget to share!
