Revisiting my scraps...

As I clean out my work table this
 weekend, I revisited my scraps of fabrics. How time flies! It will be my first year anniversary on the 26th of July. Oh, it hasn't be easy at all. But I don't want to reminisce only of the tough times, because when there are
 trials there is always a good thing that comes out of it. So as I revisit, I
 remember the exciting, but overwhelming feeling of signing up for Etsy. Once signed up I knew it had to be something I seriously must commit to. So I had to count the cost. The cost of losing sleep to complete projects that I started, managing time among family (that homeschools), ministry, and my Etsy shop.

So far, all that commitment has paid into a total of 18 sales over the past year.  To many others this is probably their total month's sale, but this means a lot to me. It shows that I can do it, and I should keep on doing it. Surely, I'm still not to the point of always having the time sew, blog, tweet, etc., but I know I"m at the point of no return. My heart is set and continues to be set on being creative. I love it, especially when I feel the inspiration. I know it's just need to come out. And I am really blessed to have MadeByCIEL. It is my hope that God will continue to allow me to share my creativity to others, for the purpose of His glory.
